In 2017, we teamed up with our friends at the Bridge Alliance to launch an exciting new awards program highlighting best practices in civic collaboration and collective action.
The Civvys are the first national awards program designed to highlight organizations and individuals that leverage collaboration as a key strength in building initiatives that improve communities. Every day, Americans collaborate across political, cultural and economic divides to engage their communities, empower citizens and improve their country. The Civvys celebrate that - and with the huge swath of diverse nominees we received, it is clear we have a lot to celebrate!

Our hardworking judges Peter Levine, Betsy Wright Hawkins and David Sawyer sorted through the finalists to select three winners in the regional, national and youth categories. We honored awardees in a ceremony at the National Conference on Citizenship in Washington, DC in October 2017.
